C2D Ducati Hypermotard Project

C2D Hypermotard

Chris at C2 Design has been fast at work on his newest creation! After a complete rebuild of this base model Hypermotard it is safe to say that it was the right choice to not go with the S model to begin with since most of the bits that made the S an upgrade have been modified or changed out completely! Make sure you pay close attention to this bike or you may miss something. From the brushed nickel finish on the frame to the gloss on the wheels the entire bike has been painted different colors, shades, and with different levels of finish. A very cool combination indeed.

We are happy to say that many of the parts were sourced from us here at desmoworks! Chris started out with the Magical Racing carbon fiber side shrouds which he then partially painted. I wish everyone could see these in person as the attention to detail is amazing. The finish level is perfect and normally I’d say it is a shame to paint them, but I think they way Chris handled it really sets them off! Very good design!

Next up was some true bling parts - SpeedyMoto and STM! From SpeedyMoto the list goes: flow clutch cover in Ti Grey, spring cap kit in red, Shinobi Pro pressure plate in gold and tapered steering head bearings. From STM came the gold slave cylinder which reduces clutch pull by about 25% making the hypermotard clutch much easier to pull and less tiring while riding in town.

Chris went with the Quat-D ex-box exhaust and then coated it in black with a thermal coating. On top of that he threw various bling from Rizoma including reservoirs, reservoir holders, mirrors and grips. Not pictured is a gold rear reservoir he order from us which has not arrived yet. I’m sure he isn’t done yet though - a true modder like this can never stop themselves… ask me how I know!
