Man, what a busy time! Right now there is a lot going on. School is over in 7 weeks (about time - being a professional student isn’t that cool), I’m looking for a house in Louisville or property to build on in southern Indiana, working the business and riding a lot!

desmoworks and Commonwealth Motorcycles hosted a track day on the 10th of this month at Putnam Park. It was a very successful event with 50+ riders and not a single incident. Everyone rode well and respected eachother. Putnam said it is one of the best days they’ve had in a long time! rpmphoto.net was there and took some shots. I’m waiting for my CD to arrive from him, so here are a couple of shots that are watermarked from his site.

Today we all went 30 miles East of Lexington, KY to ride in the dirt. Great fun, but man was it HOT! Tomorrow Rick, Greg, and I are going to New Castle for a supermoto track day. We are going again Saturday and next Monday we have our track club event at Putnam. Crazy! Lots of good track time, but not enough time for everything else.

I’ve not made much progress at all on the 800SS - I just haven’t had time. I’ve been collecting parts and am ready to do a dry fitting and to fabricate a few pieces. But, the HM1100S will be here quite soon and then I will be adding street riding to the list. I’m going to try to get the HM1100S to Mid-Ohio for a track day in either July or August, we’ll have to see. I’ve got the STM slipper, slave cylinder, and Ti clutch cover set aside for the HM and I also ordered a few things with the bike like the cams, race seat, carbon rear fender, etc…
