The more I see this motorcycle the more interested I become in it. I am really starting to think about getting one to take care of any street riding duties I may have this year. Sunday rides with the group are almost mandatory even though I don’t really enjoy it too much. I like the camaraderie, but not the actual riding. This bike might be a ton of fun though. My first bike was a 2003 620 Monster and I really do miss that bike quite a bit. This bike might be my answer to the bad gas mileage situation I’m faced with right now. Maybe instead of the Lotus Elise I’m looking at I should get a Sprinter van and a 696! It is hard to turn down the Elise though!

These videos showed up on youtube.com and have some good visuals and information (if you understand Italian) on the 696. Also shown is the new Termignoni exhaust for the 696. I received my price list the other day with some images of these and I really like them. In the second movie you get to hear the bike on the dyno with this exhaust installed. NICE!
