I’m super excited to be carrying DRIVEN products now. They have the best customer support out of every manufacture I’ve dealt with. Before I owned this store I used their products on my KTM 560SMR. I needed some other gearing and got in a pinch so I called them and they were able to overnight me the gearing and bolts that I needed so I could make it to my track day. They really are first class and so are their products.
I’m going to be adding their products to my store over the next week, but I’m going to stock front sprockets, hard anodized rear sprockets in a variety of colors, chains in a variety of colors, swing arm spools, handle bar grips, chain tools, chain lube, and whatever new products they come out with in the future.
Driven only makes sprockets for dual sided swing arm Ducati motorcycles; none for the singles sided swing arms, yet. So sprockets are available for Monster, ST series, Supersport, Sport Classic, 851/888, 749/999 etc…
Their products are super high quality. DRIVEN performance rear sprockets are made from 7075-T6 aluminum and then hard anodized for strength and longevity in your choice of color. The front sprocket is made from drilled chromoly steel. Kits include high quality EK chains.
DRIVEN offers power up kits for several bikes. Driven racing produces some of the finest sprocket kits available. These power up kits are designed for optimum performance. The stock gearing is too tall for all but the highest speed riding conditions, meaning it is better for top end than low end. The power up kit changes this so that the low end responsiveness of the bike is much improved. You will lose a little bit of top speed, but will you notice? It will make your bike feel like a new machine and launching from a stand still will be much easier.
There are also 520 conversion kits. Changing the pitch from 525 to 520 reduces the amount of weight in the chain due to the difference in width. 525 means 5/8″ between pins and (2.5)/8″ between plates or 5/16″ while 520 means the same 5/8″ between pins, but 2/8″ or 1/4″ between the plates. So a 520 chain works out to be 1/16″ skinnier than the 525 thus reducing weight. As well the sprocket will be 1/16″ skinnier to accommodate the width of the chain. Another weight reduction is the use of a hard anodized rear sprocket. The stock steel rear sprocket is very heavy in comparison.
Keep an eye on my store’s DRIVEN product page for all of the new stuff as it arrives and I photograph it.
