Custom bike builder Stellan Egeland (SE Service) from Sweden has created a new hub-center steered motorcycle to join the likes of the Bimota Tesi 3D and Vyrus C3. This is of great interest to me because of ISR’s considerable involvement in the project.
I spoke with Acke Rising, owner of ISR Brakes, recently about what he has been working on and this is the project he is most excited about. He designed and manufactured the hub-center steering setup which utilizes push/pull cables from the steering head so that all geometries of the front end can be quickly adjusted without altering the geometry of the steering. In addition to the steering ISR supplied the radial brake and clutch master cylinders, six piston mono bloc front calipers, four piston rear caliper and the integrated switches. The braking system is ABS, but the ABS is easily switched off (thankfully in my opinion!).
Acke also mentioned that an ex 250 GP rider tested the Harrier on the track and commented that it is one of the best handling motorcycles he’s ever ridden and is certainly the best handling road going motorcycle! So congratulations to Acke, ISR and SE Service for putting together a tremendous bike with a definitive style. I would definitely not mind having one here in the US!
As the life long owner of all kinds of motorcycles……And current owner of a ‘08 BMW K1200S & ‘08 Ducati 1098S. I have one comment….THIS BIKE IS SERIOUSLY BADASS!!!!!!!!

I agree… I really like it a lot! Though you’ve got a killer pair of bikes yourself!
I wonder how the ISR steering system differs from the Tesi or the Vyrus? As a Tesi 3D owner, I’m naturally curious…
