A day on the 888.

We went for a street ride today and Ed let me take his 1993 Ducati 888. We did somewhere in the neighborhood of 225 miles of twisties. That is such a cool bike. The only “complaints” would be the hard suspension (setup for a much heavier rider) and the wideness of the gas tank. Anyhow, that thing loves being between 80-120mph. Dr. Bill rode Ed’s Aprilia RS 250 Cup bike and really enjoyed it. The idea was originally for he and I to trade off, but we were both having such a good time that there was no need! I’ve ridden a different RS250 before and while fun, it just isn’t what I’m looking for to ride on the street.

The R6 sold on ebay and will be shipped out soon, the 800SS is on the table right now. I’ve been dreaming up many ideas and think I’ve got the wining formula for this build, but we’ll see. Much more to follow on that bike…
