1098R Super Build Part 1.

We are building quite a cool bike with desmoworks and Commonwealth Motorcycles. A customer has commissioned us to build his R into somewhat of a dream bike. Aldrin has done most of the work as far as selecting parts, I’ve sourced them and the techs at Commonwealth are assembling.

This is the first installment of a several part series of updates. Might be a good one to follow! I’ll post a few of my favorite images from each build session with some notes, but you can see all the images (and in high res) on the desmoworks flickr photo page.

More images after the jump.

Crank/ti-rods.

Ohlins FGRT front forks.

NCR billet triples and titanium clip-ons mounted.

NCR titanium hardware with titanium frame and sub-frame.

Can I borrow it when you’ve finished please?

I wish I could say yes to that because that would mean the bike is mine, but alas, it is not!
